This month, instead of a recipe, I wanted to let you know the many ways you can use the Flaked Mixed Sea Veggies. Sometimes, people are not sure how to use seaweeds when they are first introduced to them, so here are some easy ways to get more sea veggies into your diet:
• Sprinkle on salads or soups
• Sprinkle into rice either when cooking or after
• Sprinkle on any cooked dish in place of salt
• Add into your homemade pesto in place of or in addition to salt
• Add to your homemade hummus or dips
• Sprinkle onto bagels, avocado toast or any savory topping on toast or crackers
• Sprinkle onto cut vegetables like cucumbers, celery or jicama- really any vegetable!
• Add to your stir-fry dishes, casseroles, and pasta dishes,
• Add directly to meats and fish after cooking
• Add into your sauerkraut and kimchee or refrigerator pickles
• Use your imagination- it will most likely taste delicious and will add nutrients to any dish
